We are one month away from the new year! As the Holiday season approaches, a time of reflection and gratitude warms the hearts of many. As the 2016 year comes to an end, we want to encourage the spirt of giving. A gift to a qualified charitable organization may entitle you to a charitable contribution deduction against your income tax. Some of the organizations that receive the benefit of this deduction are churches and religious organizations, tax exempt educational organizations, hospitals and medical research organizations. Remember, to qualify for a charitable contribution deduction, the entity should be a IRC 501(c)3 organization.
